Pinterest Marketing
Pinterest is sure to become one of the main Social Networking Sites. It’s well on its way already. Here’s a 7 minute video on getting started with Pinterest Marketing and part of your personal branding, driving traffic, and backlink building strategies. Don’t miss the sister article that goes deeper into Pinterest Marketing Strategies.
Phil,
Thank you for pushing me over the tipping point re: Pinterest. I have noticed the excitement about Pinterest for some time, but have resisted adding another social network to my seemingly overwhelming set of channels. The last one I added was Google +. I take them seriously, and I want to engage and interact with social contacts. Pareto’s 80/20 Principle comes to mind…
You are quite right that Pinterest is the hottest site on the web right now, and as a result of your encouragement, I plan to to join today. I will email you a request for an invitation.
Your video was presented more professionally than 90% of the other training I have seen. It was not only clearly informative, but also pleasant to listen to. I like your voice and style of training. I mean that sincerely. I will now look for your other videos on YouTube and your website. Thanks, again.
We agree that Pinterest is a new force. We are already seeing a huge boost in our traffic. We also read that women represent almost 97% of the users. If your marketing to women Pinterest is a logical place to target your marketing.

Hello Phil, I just stumbled upon this post and I felt lucky to get to know Pinterest! I would also like to have an invitation from you for Pinterest. By the way, your video is terrific and very helpful!
Great video! Thanks Phil. I’ve heard a lot about Pinterest recently but I’ve not got a board or a space or a profile – whatever you call it. Seems like I need to check to out and get on there. If you’re not fast, your last!
Helpful tutorial, hearing you experience and opinion about Pinterest. Learned a few extra tricks that I was not aware of. Look forward to more tutorials.
Great video Phil,I have been watching Pinterest The concept is solid, but i am interested in the conversion record. Thanks for the good info.
Thanks for the information found via twitter. I am just getting started with Pinterest. It looks like fun and was a bit lost. Now I understand it better! Thanks.
Thank you for your article and video, I must say I was resisting to start with another social media site, but now I’m hooked. I don’t know why but it’s so much fun. I think it’s a great fun way to drive traffic to my site. I use pictures I post on my blog whenever I can. Thanks for the tips with engaging like commenting and repinning. I will step up the commenting. I love it!
This video has given me the right information on how to get started to promote my website. I hope things have not changed right now so I can be able to drive traffic to my site.
Thanks.
I’m still not convinced. I’m a Pinterest member – but frankly, I never use it. And on my various sites I get lots of “FB likes”, “Tweets”, etc. – but almost never a Pin it.
And the part about Pinterest stealing affiliate links and redirecting them to their own accounts seems – well – unethical.
And the Pinterest process and ‘raison d’être’ seems obscure and complicated to me. And complicated just doesn’t succeed on the web.
Jury still out in my book.
I am one of the people you described with an empty Pinterest account. You’ve renewed my interest. Thanks for the information.
Great tips. Still learning. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Hi Phil, what kind of influence do you think pinterest has on the search engines? Do you think Google picks up signals from here? Will be asking for an invitation shortly.
Hey Phil, it has been a while. I saw your post and thought I would see your insights on Pinterest.

I wish I had your info more than a year ago.
At first I got addicted. then I found out that I was a falling inot others plagerism. I did not open Pinterst for 7 to 8 months. NowI really see the value.
If I may with your OK, I would like to add you to my resource list on my blog. It is important for all to understand that that every one needs to interact with in the social network.
Old guy just retired for the 4th or 5th time and trying to see the usefulness of the vast and various social media sites and tools so I can help coach the over 65 crowd that are not digitally prepared to survive in the 22nd century let alone the 21st. Selected you at random. Liked the short intro to Pinterst. I have used FB, Linked In, and Twitter a little but haven’t paid much attention to Google + or Pinterst until last week. The more you use these sites the more comfortable you become and the more value you can add to the community. Quite and exploding social media world we have at these exciting time. Good job Phillip. @mcdermittmarvel
Phil, great video. Thank you. I love Pinterest and can’t wait to start using it for my marketing.
Pinterest is a great tool, but don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, Organic Google Traffic, plus a good offline approach that include Post-it Note Marketing, Calling MLMers and pitching attraction marketing, etc… These are how to build a good huge network and make the big bucks in MLM.

Hi Phil. This is perfect for a beginner like me. I had been trying to find answers whether it is okay to use Pinterest photos for my hubs… “provided with the right credit” was the answer I learned. I’ll be on a lookout for more of your tips. You have helped me a lot.
Thank you very much. More power to you!
